GENERAL
INTRODUCTION
Yingkou Economic & Technological Development Zone
(Hereinafter Yingkou Development Zone) is a State-level  Economic & Technological
Development Zone,located in the middle of Liao Dong Peninsula,at
the seaside of Bohai, 50 km south to Yingkou City. And it is situated
in the range of 40°15' longitude and 122°8' latitude,210 km north
to Shenyang and 180 km south to Dalian. The area is 268 square kilometer
and with population 300,000.With its mild maritime climate,there
are four clear seasons.The annual average temperature is 9.8℃,and
the annual precipitation, 545.90mm.
 HISTORY
Yingkou Development Zone was previously called Bayuquan Town,Gaixian
Country.In 1982,thanks to the construction of the Port of Bayuquan,Bayuquan
District was approved to set up by the State Council.In March 1988,provincial
Party Committee and Provincial Government of Liaoning decided to
set up Yingkou Export Processing Zone as the second window open
to the outside of the world.On Oct.21,1992,Yingkou Development Zone
was approved bv the State Council.
